It is known that Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has been vocal about the problems faced by the tenant farmers in Andhra Pradesh.
Now, Pawan Kalyan’s mother Anjana Devi has made a generous donation for Janasena’s Rythu Bharosa scheme, which is being implemented by the Powerstar to support the tenant farmer families who have lost a large portion of their livelihood and are in financial difficulties.
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Anjana Devi’s husband, she donated Rs 1.50 lakh to Rythu Bharosa and another Rs 1 lakh to the Janasena party.
Speaking about the same, Pawan Kalyan said that his mother made this donation with the pension money, which she received after the death of her husband Konidela Venkat Rao, who worked in the police department. He breathed his last in 2007.
Pawan Kalyan said the government is providing the pension to his mother in the process and she is happy to give the money for the welfare of the tenant farmers who committed suicide.
Pawan Kalyan also said that he would do his part to abolish the CPS and bring in the old pension scheme.
