Massive footfalls are anticipated in movie theatres for this Sankranthi season as two biggies Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya and Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Veera Simha Reddy are gearing up for a grand theatrical release.
It is a known fact that the producers will get huge profits once the audience steps out to watch the movies in theatres. However, the revenue generated from the movie screenings in Andhra Pradesh was reduced after the CM Jagan Mohan Reddy government lowered the ticket prices in the state.
Amid this backdrop, the heads of the Mythri Movie Makers production house met the officers of Andhra Pradesh CMO and requested a rise in ticket prices today. It is expected that a positive decision from the government will be made soon.
Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy, both the movies are backed by Mythri Movie Makers.
