Though there was no such official announcement from anyone, it was in the news that, team India Ex-Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is going to retire soon.
So everyone were of the opinion that Dhoni would take a decision on the same,after winning the World Cup. But much to the shock, Team India could not enter the finals, due to a humiliating defeat in the semi-finals.
Now the reports are rife that Dhoni would announce his retirement anytime soon, as there is no possibility for him to achieve any notable goals in the near future. Adding to it, as Dhoni is getting older, even before the things get worse, it would be better for him to retire, is what many around him opine.

So while the official announcement is expected to be out shortly, a BJP leader now, has come up with interesting news about Dhoni. Ex-Minister in BJP’s cabinet Sanjay Pashwan, said that Dhoni would join in BJP, right after his retirement to all forms of cricket. The BJP leader said that he is closely associated with the star cricketer for quite some time and is so taking the liberty of revealing the news much before.
If it turns true, then it would be a great boost to the already existing massive power of BJP across the country and is expected to further worsen the position of other opposition parties like Congress.
