It is known that the Chennai Super Kings won their 5th IPL trophy last night. The Dhoni-led side beat the Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets to register an emphatic victory.
Shortly after the trophy win, MS Dhoni was asked the much debated question about his retirement and he gave an affirmative answer to the same.
“I know that the easy option is to retire now, after winning the cup. It would mean I can end the career on a high. But the amount of love they have been showing, I want to give them a gift. I will try to continue for one more season.” Dhoni said.
“It is going to be very tough on the body but I want to gift this to everyone who have been showering their love and affection. There could be another season left in me.” Dhoni concluded.
