After the police denied permission for the protest rally, Mohan Babu along with the students of his institution, staged a protest at the entrance of Sri Vidyanikethan institutions. With this, the traffic was disturbed for about 15 kilometres and so the police had to intervene the issue.
Mohan Babu said that its due to the negligence of the government that made him to come on to the roads and is unwilling to call off the protest. He said that he had written several letters to the government to clear the dues of fee reimbursement, but there was no response for any of his letters.
As the elections are nearing, this kind of protest is turning as a fatigue to TDP and is giving another opportunity for the oppositions to counter Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. The police reportedly got a green signal from the government to arrest the actor. If this turns true, it would further worsen the situation of TDP in AP, the analysts opine.
