Women, health professionals, opposition, and many people criticized centre for taking this decision in this crucial period. On the other side, the state governments made the center responsible for opening the liquor shops and the BJP has to take all the blame.

The center won’t get a single penny from the liquor sales that are happening all over the country but they have to take the blame when there is a drastic increase in the number of cases. Indians believed the BJP government all the time. Be it demonetization or the promise made by them to dig out all the black money in the country through it. But now, this lockdown is proving to be more costly than the demonetization and Congress is ready to pounce on the center. They are planning to lock the BJP government by asking how can they manage this huge economic loss and compensate the people who lost their employment during this COVID-19 crisis period.
