The YSRCP MLC Anantha Uday Bhaskar Babu alias Anantha Babu, who is currently a remand prisoner in the Rajahmundry Central jail, is rumored to have attacked a fellow prisoner.
As per reports, the arrested MLC, who killed his driver Subramaniam, is said to have laid hands on a fellow prisoner after they both started exchanging words on an unknown issue. Prison staff immediately alerted and apparently let the commotion subside. It is learned that Anantha Babu did not inflict any major injuries on his fellow prisoner in the attack.
It is learned that MLC Anantha Babu has pleaded guilty in the Subramaniam murder case, which caused a stir in the AP. The ruling party leader tried to convince the deceased driver’s family members that Subramaniam had died in a road accident. But he admitted guilt at the police inquest. He said Subramaniam was killed for interfering in personal affairs. Meanwhile, it is heard that Anantha Babu is getting VIP treatment in the jail using the influence of ruling party leaders.
