Nandamuri Balakrishna of Tollywood actor and Hindupur MLA will visit villages in Amravati today to express solidarity with farmers opposing the proposal to shift the secretariat to Visakhapatnam.
Along with Balakrishna, he will visit the villages of Amravati with his entire family and will also participate in relay strikes and Daren. Meanwhile, Nara Rohit, producer Ashwini Dutt, and pop singer Smith have expressed solidarity in support of Amravati farmers.
The peasant movement has reached its 30th day on Thursday. This movement is increasing day by day; in this movement, two farmers died of a heart attack. Farmers of 29 villages staged a protest on Wednesday despite the Makar Sankranti festival, seeking to retain Amravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
