Noted director Maruthi got back to winning ways with his previous film Prathi Roju Pandage. Sai Dharam Tej and Raashi Khanna played lead roles in the family entertainer. The latter was seen as a TikTok star in the film and she evoked good fun.
The latest we hear is that Maruthi has penned another funny role for Raashi Khanna in his upcoming film Pakka Commercial which is in filming stage.
As said by our sources close to the movie unit, Raashi will be seen as a TV serial actress in the Gopichand starrer. She plays a cheerful girl who is addicted to TV soap operas and finally fulfils her dream of starring in them. Her role will be on the lines of the one she played in Prathi Roju Pandage.
Pakka Commercial is going on at a brisk pace and the makers had already announced that the film will be hitting the marquee on 1st October.
The film is a remake of Bollywood film, Jolly LLB 2, as we had exclusively reported earlier.
UV Creations and GA2 Pictures are jointly bankrolling the project. Jakes Bejoy is composing the music and Karm Chawla is handling cinematography.
