People of various classes and all political parties across the state of Andhra Pradesh have been protesting against the privatization of the Visakha steel plant for the past few days.
Opposition parties are accusing the central government of doing injustice to the Telugu people in each and every step. The Center has set up a special committee with ministers and officials to privatize the Visakhapatnam steel plant.
On the other hand, Maoist party Andhra-Odisha border special zonal committee secretary Kailasam has said that he fully supports the Visakhapatnam steel plant movement. To this end, a letter was issued in the name of Maoist Zonal Committee Secretary Kailasam.
He said that many movements happened in the past for setting up a steel plant and 32 people had lost their lives.
He said it would be a true tribute to the sacrifice of 32 people if such an industry is now protected. Kailash alleged that although the BJP and YCP flags were different, they were implementing the same policies.
