Manoj Bajpayee in Salaar? Truth is here

Pan-India star Prabhas’ upcoming film, Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel, is one of the most anticipated films from South India. The film has been creating a lot of excitement among fans since its inception. However, there have been many speculations about the antagonist in this action drama.

Many Tollywood and Bollywood reports claimed that critically acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee will be playing an antagonist to Prabhas in the film. However, there is no truth behind those reports and they are mere speculations. Our sources confirmed that Salaar team has never approached Bajpayee to play any role in the film.

The National award-winning actor Manoj Bajpayee was last seen in Telugu in ‘Vedam’ 2010 directed by Krissh Jagarlamudi.

Earlier, there were rumours about Vijay Sethupathi or John Abraham might play the antagonist in the film. But, there is no official word on these reports yet.

Salaar has Shruti Haasan as the female lead. Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner is bankrolling this project, and the film is set to release in theatres in April 2022.
