Rumours are rife that Manchu Vishnu is going to bounce back again after a brief hiatus. Vishnu is now all eyes over his upcoming flick and is on the look out for a commercial break in his career as there were consecutive flops making him go off the radar. Dhee released in Vishnu-Srinu Vaitla’s combination in 2007 has been a massive success and remained as one of the memorable movie for the audience.
In the meantime, the director is keen to take a sequel of the super duper hit film. This is where everyone’s focus has shifted on. Of late on April 13, it has been 13 years since the movie Dhee released, and on this special occasion Manchu Vishnu reminisced the memories of his film via Twitter. He tagged director Srinu Vaitla and asked When is ‘Dhee 2’going to be? The audience got a vague hint when Manu Vishnu questioned him, who presupposed and spread the rumour that a sequel is going to begin soon.
However, recently the rumour turned out true and it is heard from the inside source that director Srinu Vaitla is currently penning the script and another franchise of this movie is named tentatively ‘Dhee and Dhee’. It is reported that the film will be made as a commercial comedy entertainer produced by Manchu Vishnu himself. The buzz is that the tag line would be “Daring and Dashing” with a motto to garner more Telugu audience. The director has roped in a bunch of young talented writers and plans to set the shoot schedule by the end of the year. Let’s wait to see what’s up the actor’s sleeve for this time!.
