Consuming Acid, mistaking for alcohol, a man died on Saturday in Hyderabad’s New Bowenpally.
Ganesh (36), who was working as a grade-4 officer in Mint Compound, returned home on May 9th, in a drunken position. In such intoxicated state, he mistakenly consumed acid, assuming it to be alcohol.
The man was immediately rushed to hospital after experiencing severe burns and has undergone the required treatment for two days. But as the acid burns were found to be thick, his condition has gone into a helpless state and finally, he died on Saturday, while undergoing treatment. The police conducted the autopsy formalities and handed over Ganesh’s body to his family members later.
