Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Shaakuntalam, which is set to be released on 14th April. The film is directed by Gunasekhar, and is based on the famous play of the same name, written by Kalidasa.
The song of Shaakuntalam, and the background score, have been composed by Mani Sharma, and the song Mallika, which was released some time ago, has managed to become an instant hit. The video version of this melodious song has now been released.
On the other hand, Shaakuntalam feaures Malayalam actor Dev Mohan, who is making his Telugu debut, as King Dushyant. Mohan Babu, Gauthami and several others will also be seen in the film, which will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, along with Telugu.
