Malayalam superstar turns villain for Akhil Akkineni?

Akhil Akkineni, who is currently waiting for the release of his romantic comedy Most Eligible Bachelor, has teamed up with director Surender Reddy for his next project, titled ‘Agent’.

The young actor, who has been waiting for a proper hit all these years, has grabbed everyone’s attention with his physical transformation for this film.

Now, the latest update is that Malayalam superstar Mammootty has been roped in to play the villain in Agent. The makers of the film initially wanted to rope Mohanlal and Upendra for the role, but things didn’t work out.

According to reports, the scenes and dialogues between Mammootty and Akhil are going to be a treat to watch. The film will go on floors on July 12 in Hyderabad. The film, which will be bankrolled by Anil Sunkara, marks the first collaboration of Surender Reddy and Akhil.
