Malayalam actor PC George, who is popularly known for portraying the roles of antagonists, died on Friday morning. The 74-year-old actor breathed his last at a private hospital in Kerala’s Thrissur.
George was suffering from kidney-related ailments. He is survived by a wife, two daughters, and a son.
A policeman-turned-actor, PC George, made his big-screen debut in Amba Ambika Ambalika in 1976. He was a part of over 75 films in his career. His works include films such as Adharvam, Chanakyan, Innale, Peruvannapurathe Visheshangal, and Sangham.
George had retired from the rank of Superintendent of Police. PC George calmly dabbled in both careers, finding the precise balance between the two professions. His funeral will be held on Saturday at St. Joseph Church in Karukutty, near Kochi.
