For a while now, we have been hearing that senior actress Nayanthara will be reprising Maju Warrier’s role in the Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer.
Nayanthara principally agreed to star in the Lucifer remake but she opted out in the last minute, citing dates issue.
The makers of Lucifer remake are now in search of another actress to replace Nayanthara in the Chiranjeevi starrer. They have short listed a few names and will be zeroing in on one actress very soon.
Lucifer remake will be hitting the floors after Ugadi and related works are underway already.
The script is locked and pre-production is going on at a brisk pace now. Chiranjeevi will be joining the shoot right from the first schedule.
The Mohan Raja directorial will be jointly produced by NV Prasad and Konidela Productions. Satya Dev and Divi Vadthya are roped in for key roles in the political thriller.
