Adivi Sesh’s latest outing Major, which hit the theatres on June 3, is having a decent run at the box office worldwide. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the biopic is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who lost his life in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.
The latest news is that Major has crossed the $1 million mark in the US within its first-week run at the box office. As per reports, the Sesh starrer has entered the profit zone in just 4 days after the grand release.
Apart from playing the lead role, the Goodachari actor has also doubled up as the screenwriter for Major. The movie has Saiee Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj and Murali Sharma in important roles. It is jointly produced by Sony Pictures International Productions, G Mahesh Babu Entertainment and A+S Movies.
