Filmmaker Mahi V Raghav who is known for his works like Yatra and Anando Brahma is coming up with a comedy web show Save The Tigers (STT). The content is streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from April 27, 2023.
Speaking about the response for the trailer, he thanked the audience. He added that the show is a clean situational comedy which deals with the couples and their daily conflicts in their relationships.
The show revolves around the lives of three couples and the three frustrated husbands who meet at a pub by chance and come together over their marital problems.
Talking about the show’s title, he said that it was named so as men(husband) consider themselves as tigers but actually we know who the actual tiger(wife) is at home. He said that this is a fun take and shows how fun generates from this life experiences.
Speaking about his production house Three Autumn Leaves making films consistently for OTT, he said that OTT is his livelihood and something that he bets more than films.
He added that OTTs are good opportunity for filmmakers to explore both creatively and commercially.
He says that a film is only told from one point of view, but on the OTT, it is narrated from the point of view of multiple characters.
Speaking about Yatra 2, he said that the movie is on cards definitely but can talk about it only when time comes.
