When YS Sharmila first announced that she would be establishing a political party of her own here, in Telangana, there was a lot of discussion on this topic. People started wondering why someone from Rayalaseema would want to indulge in Telangana politics, especially when Sharmila’s father YSR was totally against the idea of a separate Telangana.
Sharmila promised to bring her father’s rule to Telangana, but no one understood why in Telangana specifically, when her own brother is the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. People started saying that all is not well between Sharmila and Jagan, which is why she came to Telangana. However, if that were true, then Sharmila should have said something against Jagan at least once so far. But, she hasn’t, in fact, she hasn’t spoken a word about her brother after she came to Telangana.
Jana Sena member Mahesh Pothina is now saying that the real reason behind Sharmila coming to Telangana is because Jagan split the assets between himself and Sharmila into two, and gave her Telangana, while he took Andhra Pradesh for himself and his wife.
No one knows whether Mahesh has insider information, or if he’s just guessing it to save Pawan Kalyan from being criticised any more by YSRCP members unnecessarily, but the fact is that Mahesh’s logic sounds absolutely sound. There is absolutely every possibility for this to be the truth.
