Baahubali was a massive success and turned out to be the country’s blockbuster, breaking even the records of Bollywood blockbusters like Dangal. It was then, the North audience have started eyeing on the South films. Especially, the Hindi dubbed versions of Telugu films are doing exceptionally well on YouTube.
Adding to such standards, now Maharshi became the most liked upcoming releases of this week. IMDB, the popular database website for the films, has declared the same, after over 30% of the audience have expressed their interest in watching Maharshi this week. Student of the Year 2, which is also taking its release in the week has garnered 20% interest, whereas, Ajay Devgn’s “De De Pyar De” has acquired 14% interest.
Thus Mahesh took the responsibility of lifting the Telugu pride at the national level, this time. As the trailer was impressive, the moviegoers are betting big on the film. The social aspect of the film like dealing the farmer issues is what brought the much needed hype to Maharshi. It should be seen whether the film lives up to the hype, after the release or not.
