Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray clarified that the lockdown will not be imposed in the state at this point in time. However, he made it clear that a lockdown would be imposed if the situation becomes even worse.
CM Uddhav held a high-level meeting in the wake of the corona. He said that the state’s financial situation would worsen if a lockdown was imposed in the current situation. He explained that this time the corona was spreading at a faster rate than in March 2020.
