MAA Controversy: Nagababu makes a strong statement

The ongoing controversy pertaining to MAA elections is one of the most talked about topics among Telugu film circles. There is a whole lot of anticipation surrounding the election as there are a total of 5 candidates testing their luck this time around.

Speaking of which, mega brother Nagababu made a strong statement about the MAA controversy and also the MAA building.

“Unanimous elections are never a good thing. There should always be healthy competition. If Muralimohan(ex-MAA president) fought for it, we would have had a MAA building a long while back. Our people neglected it at first but they are emphasising a lot on it now,” he said.

When asked why he is supporting Prakash Raj, Nagababu said the former is a respected artist down south and he maintains cordial relationships with film personalities across various industries. “Prakash Raj is respected by everyone. I felt he would be the right person to steer MAA.”
