Not less than a week after a Telangana lawyer couple hacked to death, a lorry hit yet another lawyer from Telangana while he was on his way to Hanamkonda from Hyderabad. The accident happened at Yeshwanthpur in the Jangaon district.
The victim is identified as advocate Durga Prasad. He claims that the lorry had followed him before trashing his car. He said that it dragged his car for about 200 meters before stopping.
The locals chased the driver while he tried to escape from the spot. The incident occurred when he was on his way to Warangal court to attend a property dispute case.
The victim advocate is said to be dealing with nearly 100 cases related to land disputes. Meanwhile, the driver of the lorry claims that the accident occurred due to brake failure.
The victim lodged a complaint with the police. He demands an investigation to know whether it was an accident or an assassination on him.
