Lord Venkateshwara’s darshan now made easy

Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation has come up with a new package for Lord Venkateshwara darshan for Amaravathi (Vijayawada) residents. Through this package, the tourists can avail the benefit of visiting Srinivasa Mangapuram, Thiruchanoor, Srikaalahasthi temples in a single day.

The tour will start at 10 pm on the first day and end on visiting Vijayawada on the third day by 5 am. The package costs Rs. 3775 to the elders and Rs. 3000 to the children.

Initially, the APTDC central reservation centre at Sub-Collector office has been decided to be the pick up point. The bus starts from tourism corporation in Auto Nagar and picks up the tourists in Patamata, Benz Circle, Labbipet and few other places. The package includes the tiffin, lunch, dinner, two litre water bottle and also the accommodation in Srikalahasthi.

Announcing the new package, APTDC MD Dhanunjaya Reddy said that it would be available to the public from Ugadi and also opined that the package will relieve the stress, tourists take for darshan.

Explaining the package in detail, the Chief said that the tourists would reach Srikalahasthi by morning from Tirupathi and then will be served the tiffin. Later, they will change the bus and travel to Tirumala by afternoon and complete their darshan and go to Tirupathi, where the lunch will be served. After the lunch break, the tourists will then move to Srinivasa Mangapuram, Thiruchanoor and complete darshan and reach Srikalahasthi by 6 pm. After darshan over there, the tourists will be served the dinner and will travel back to Vijayawada.

Going with the online sales, the package is getting a good response from the local residents. The APTDC even launched a new Volvo bus for the package, Reddy said, adding that the corporation is concerned about the safety of the tourists.

The services will be availed on every alternate days for now and according to the demand, the corporation will also come up with providing the services every day.
