The High Court yesterday dismissed the Andhra Pradesh government’s GO instating Sanchaita Gajapatiraju as the Maharaja Alak Narayana Society of Arts and Science (MANSAS) Chairperson and reinstated Ashok Gajapatiraju as the Chairperson of the MANSAS and Simhachalam trusts. TDP National General Secretary welcomed this ruling very warmly.
Lokesh said that the verdict is the ultimate form of victory and justice, and said that it served as a tight slap to the YSRCP government, which has been behaving in a very undemocratic manner ever since it came to power. Lokesh also said that the verdict brought a great deal of recognition to the Pusapati family which donated thousands of crores worth of assets for the welfare of the people.
Lokesh also said that this verdict has been possible due to the blessings of Simhacahlam Appanna. TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu also welcomed the news and called it a tight slap in the face of the Tughlaq CM, meaning Jagan. Members of the TDP believe that this verdict is going to be a major breather for the people of the state.
On the other hand, members of the YSRCP are saying that they would go to the Supreme Court and challenge the HC’s verdict.
