Tenali Ramakrishna BABL short review

Story:

Tenali Ramakrishna (Sundeep Kishan) is an idle lawyer, with no cases in hands. He tries to earn money by compromising people, who are involved in the pending cases. On the other side, Varalakshmi (Varalakshmi Sharath Kumar) finds herself in a murder case, which will be taken up by Tenali. The consequences he faced after taking it up is what shows the rest of Tenali Ramakrishna BABL.

Story strength: Not even a single notable point.

Highlights:

– Satya Krishnan’s KA Paul track
– Comedy in parts
– Varalakshmi’s performance

Boring:

– Worst story line.
– Weak screenplay and direction
– Weak comedy
– Songs and fights only to aim at the commercial market.
– Uninteresting interval and climax.

00.01 A.M: As usual hero wins and movie ends. Review follows.

11.58 P.M: Movie inching towards pre-climax and some twists are happening.

11.52 P.M: The way it started is good. But the similar enthusiasm could not be maintained throughout, due to the non-sink fun scenes. Even the comedy is just average.

11.45 P.M: Chammak Chandra comedy scenes which are in typical Jabardasth’s style, are going on.

11.40 P.M: Vennela Kishore’s family, who is known to worry for everything, has been introduced.

11.36 P.M: Some key scenes between Tenali and Varalakshmi are going on. Varalakshmi’s performance is brilliant.

11.30 P.M: AP CM Jagan’s Kodi katti scene imitated. A main twist revealed.

11.27 P.M: After a heated argument, Sundeep Kishan wins the case and Varalakshmi comes out.

11.23 P.M: Satya Krishnan’s performance as KA Paul in court is hilarious.

11.18 P.M: The first court scene between Jr lawyer Tenali and criminal lawyer Murali Sharma.

11.15 P.M: Satya Krishnan speaks in KA Paul’s style, which is good.

11.10 P.M: It’s time for 3rd song between the lead pair. It is shot in a posh manner.

11.05 P.M: Saptagiri-Posani kidnap scene evokes good laughs.

11.00 P.M: Second half started with interval twist revelation.

First Half Report: The first half of the film is a huge disappointment. Interval block and two to three comedy scenes are just okay as of now. There are no notable scenes in the film. Age old comedy scenes, and boring dialogues, completely spoil the mood of the audience, watching the film in the theatres. Let us hope for a better second half.

INTERVAL

10.45 P.M: A suspense environment created in a court scene. Time for interval with a small twist.

10.38 P.M: An action scene in Mamidi Thota is shot in a brilliant manner..

10.34 P.M: Emotional scenes between Murali Sharma and Raghu Babu is going on. The twist in the tale comes now.

10.30 P.M: Tenali inspires Hansika to settle her case. But she involves in new problems, during which Hero enters and solves it. The fight scene is shot well.

10.25 P.M: A few scenes like satires on wives remind us of F2 movie.

10.20 P.M: Time for second song “Kurnool Katthivaa”. It is shot well and dance moves are good again.

10.16 P.M: Regular, boring and outdated comedy scenes are going on. Nothing engaging as of now.

10.14 P.M: Varalakshmi’s case comes to the hearing and she gets bail. Posani is judge.

10.10 P.M: Time for the title song. It is shot well and Sundeep Kishan’s dance moves are great.

10.04 P.M: Tenali settles cases outside the court, using his strategies.

10.00 P.M: Dhaga Dhagaa song from Lakshmi’s NTR as background for Saptagiri is funny.

09.58 P.M: Sr actress Kinnera and Raghu Babu are Sundeep Kishan’s parents. Raghu Babu spoils all the cases that come towards his son.

09.55 P.M: Hansika introduced in a classy manner. Love at first sight moment at the court yard.

09.50 P.M: Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar is introduced as Kurnool’s popular Industrialist Varalakshmi. She gets arrested in a murder case of his PA Bhopal.

09.45 P.M: Ayyappa as Simhadri Naidu enters the scene as a powerful villain of Kurnool.

09.40 P.M: Movie opens at Kurnool’s Kondareddy Buruzu centre. A crime scene is going on.
