Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has appealed to the Union govt to give permission to vaccinate all people above 18 years of age.
He said that everyone must be vaccinated to curb the spread of coronavirus. Kejriwal recalled that he had already appealed to the central government several times on the same. He said that about 65% of the population in Delhi are under 45 years of age.
Arvind Kejriwal recalled that strict restrictions were already imposed on the people of Delhi. The Delhi govt imposed strict restrictions like only 50% seating capacity in local metro trains and buses.
Orders were issued banning all the social, political, sporting, recreational, and cultural gatherings in Delhi.
