KT Rama Rao, the son of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, has been serving as the state’s IT Minister for two terms, which is ten years. He has been known for bringing in a lot of international companies to the state, and for contributing to the significant development of the IT sector in Hyderabad.
KTR expressed confidence in the BRS forming the government in Telangana for the third time around in 2023 as well, just last night, on X (formerly Twitter), saying that they are headed for a hattrick win. However, with the election results not ending up in the favour of BRS, KTR has made a new tweet today, publicly accepting defeat.
His latest tweet reads, “Grateful to the people of Telangana for giving @BRSparty two consecutive terms of Government
Not saddened over the result today, but surely disappointed as it was not in expected lines for us. But we will take this in our stride as a learning and will bounce back
Congratulations to Congress party on winning the mandate. Wishing you Good Luck”.
