The makers of Prabhas‘ starrer Adipurush have officially announced that Bollywood celebrities Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh are on board for the epic periodic drama.
The latest update is that Kriti will join the shoot of Adipurush next month after wrapping her ongoing project Bhediya with Varun Dhawan. As per reports, the shooting of this horror film will go on for over a month.
The reports suggested the makers will shoot Kriti solo scenes first and then portions with the Baahubali actor and Saif Ali Khan. Her scenes will be filmed on a green screen. The actress will be playing Sita, paired against Prabhas, who plays lord Ram.
The film, which is based on the epic Ramayana, is directed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame. Saif Ali Khan will play the role of antagonist demon Lankesh. Adipurush will hit the screens on August 11, 2022.
