Kriti Sanon & Sunny Singh on board for Prabhas’ Adipurush

After a much-needed wait, the speculations finally ended with the official announcement from the makers of Prabhas’ Adipurush. Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh become the latest Bollywood stars to join in the cast of Adipurush helmed by filmmaker Om Raut.

Kriti has been roped in to play the female lead ‘Sita’ opposite Prabhas, and Sunny Singh has been signed to essay his younger brother’s role ‘Lakshman’ in this historical drama. We already know Saif Ali Khan is essaying the role of villain in the magnum opus.

While there were rumours many rumours regarding the female lead, Kriti Sanon’s has been locked to star opposite the Baahubali actor.

The 3D action drama Adipurush is an adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana, where Prabhas is playing the role of Lord Ram. The film is being shot in Hindi and Telugu and will release in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada as well. It will hit the theatres on August 11, 2022.
