Krithi Shetty, the rising star who made waves with her debut hit “Uppena,” faced a series of setbacks after subsequent successes like “Shyam Singha Roy” and “Bangarraju.” Her recent film, “Custody,” opposite Naga Chaitanya, also didn’t fare well.
However, Krithi’s career is back on track as she has signed on for a new Tamil movie called “Genie.” Sharing the screen with popular actor Jayam Ravi, this film, backed by Vels Production, boasts the biggest budget of Ravi’s career.
The project is helmed by director Bhuvanesh Arjunan, a former associate of Mysskin. In a media interaction, producer Ishari K Ganesh hinted at the possibility of music maestro AR Rahman composing the film’s music.
With such exciting prospects, Krithi Shetty’s association with “Genie” is generating buzz and anticipation. Fans eagerly await the release of this high-budget venture, which promises to reignite her career.
