Krishna and his Leela Movie Review – Tangled love story of a confused soul, failed to impress

Story 

A rather complicated story of a confused bachelor, plot is full of twists and turns that he gets drawn into due to his indecisiveness. He gets torn between his past and present girl friends. Krishna (Sidhu) gets break up with Satya (Shraddha Srinath) and then falls for Radha (Shalini Vadnikatti). Then things gets complicated as Satya enters his life again. What he does next and does he continue his relationship with Radha is the rest of the story. Let’s dive into performances and how far director convinced the audience this tangled love drama.

How about On-Screen Stars performance ?

Siddhu has given a decent performance as indecisive lad, portrayed it with ease the role of perplexed young man who can not make make up his mind. This performance Siddhu is in complete contrast with the role that he did in Guntur Talkies. Shalini Vadnikatti given a good performance as one of the girlfriends, her acting is flawless as loving and caring girl. Shraddha Srinath did the role of Siddhu’s senior who is bold and daring, one might feel she has done this kind of performance before. Her role has lot of conflict and it resembles that of the one she did in Jersey. Sheerat Kapoor has done justice to her role. Viva Harsha manages to bring laughter in this first full length role.

How about off Screen Talents ?

Director Ravikanth Perepu chose a complicated story who managed to engage audience partly. The entire story revolves around on hero cheating his girl friends, it’s very challenging to show positive side of the hero character in this. One might not be fully convinced with portrayal of conflict within Krishna’s characterization. Director could have told the story in more entertaining way. Cinematography is noteworthy. Sricharan Pakala’s tunes and bgm is good, usage of full full popular Tamil composition IndianRaga alaipayuthey is unconventional and not apt. Pranav Chaganty’s Telugu rap song that comes in the beginning of the movie is good.

Krishna and his leela is a different movie that has rather a complicated story of a confused soul. Could have been a better watch if it has good entertaining elements.

Watch or Not?
Not worth watching the movie on big screen but a passable OTT watch.
