Kodali Nani: Narendra Modi is allowed to go alone to temple, then why not Jagan?

YSRCP Cabinet Minister Kodali Nani continues to make more and more controversial statements against the Hindu religion, especially with regards to the TTD declaration. When it was said that the TTD might cancel the declaration that is supposed to be signed by all those who visit the Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy temple, Hindu devotees from all over the country raged with anger. Subsequently, the topic was dropped and the declaration now continues to stay in place.

However, the discussion of whether Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy should sign the declaration or not is still going on very strongly. Even as these discussions haven’t come to any conclusion, Jagan has reportedly reached Tirumala, and will offer Pattu clothes to the Lord very soon.

Speaking about the issue, Kodali Nani has recently made controversial statements, where he questioned the necessity of the declaration, and said that it was not at all needed. With his statements hurting the sentiments of all devotees, members of the BJP AP have demanded Nani’s removal from the AP cabinet. To this, Nani said that no one would remove Amit Shah and Kishan Reddy from their cabinet, and similarly, no one would remove him from the AP cabinet.

Furthermore, Nani also commented on the fact that neither PM Narendra Modi, nor UP CM Yogi Adithyanath visit temples with their wives, and questioned why Jagan has to go to Tirumala with his wife. He questioned why there were different rules for the Prime Minister and Chief Minister, and why people aren’t questioning one person, while readily attacking the other.

Nani also said that he was answerable to none, about the statements he made, and asked the members of the AP BJP to keep a check on themselves and focus on getting more votes, instead of advising Jagan, who got the most votes in the last election. He has also advised the AP BJP to mind their own business, and not to interfere in the matters of other parties.

On the other hand, Paripoornanda Swami of Sri Peetam, has greatly criticised Kodali Nani on his controversial statements, and said that the history of Tirumala temple dates back to hundreds of years before the history of Nani had begun. He also said that Nani has no right or authority to comment on whether the declaration should be in place or not.
