Yash-starrer KGF: Chapter 2, which was released in over 10,000 screens worldwide, has now joined the 1000 Cr club. The action drama, directed by Prashanth Neel, has crossed the 1000 crores gross milestone worldwide.
Not only this, KGF: Chapter 2 has also breached the Rs 100 crore club in Tamil Nadu. Apparently, this is the second non-Tamil movie after Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali 2 to achieve this feat.
The Kannada film, which has also been dubbed and released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, is continuing to run with Housefull boards in many areas even after four weeks since its release.
The movie also stars Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Dutt, Rao Ramesh, Srinidhi Shetty and Prakash Raj in key roles. Produced by Hombale Films on a grand scale, KGF-2 has music composed by Ravi Basrur.
