Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2 has been a phenomenal success at the global box office. The Prashanth Neel directorial, which hit the screens on April 14, is continuing to post decent numbers at the BO and the action-packed entertainer has become the second movie to cross the Rs 1,000 crore mark in India.
KGF Chapter 2 is the second film to cross the mark after SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati.
Baahubali 2, which was released in 2017, had collected Rs 1,429 crores in India and was the sequel to Baahubali: The Beginning. KGF Chapter 2 is also the sequel to KGF Chapter 1, which was released in 2018.
As per reports, KGF Chapter 2 is heading towards the Rs 1,200 crore mark as it has already amassed Rs 1,185.17 crore.
Apart from Yash, the movie stars Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj and Archana Jois in key roles.
