Keerthi Suresh cut downs her remuneration

Despite the partial lift in the lock down film industry is still in serious trouble. The shootings have gradually begin to start with certain conditions. Nonetheless, the economic fallout due to lockdown has significantly impacted this sector causing irreparable losses that would last at least for another two months

All the film fraternity people are at loss, especially the technicians who work for meagre amounts.

Some actors, such as Vijay Antony, Udaya and Tapsee, have cut down their their pay on their own to balance the fall out. In the same way, Keerthi Suresh followed in their foot steps and decided to reduce her remuneration to 30% as per a recent report.

Actress keerthi Suresh who tasted success with Mahanati is now prepping up for penguin film. Penguin teaser, which is touted to be a crime thriller has got a good applause from the audience. The highly anticipated lyrical song `Praname’ was released yesterday by Anirudh, for which Santosh Narayan composed the music.

On the other hand, Keerthi Suresh is starring in daughter’s role of Rajnikanth’s upcoming movie Annatthe directed by Siva. Meanwhile Keerthi Suresh’s father Suresh Kumar who is a producer/director in Mollywood, appealed to the film industry to cut down the actor’s remuneration if the film industry has to recover from the massive losses. Recently Ace director Mani Ratnam too said actors will have to reduce their pay. The reports are rife that down the lane, same thing would happen in Tollywood as well.
