The situation in Telangana is a lot better when compared to other south Indian states as yesterday only 2 positive cases were registered. These two cases were identified in the GHMC region and KCR expressed his happiness over the reduction of the cases.
Even though Telangana is showing some progression, KCR is not a mood to lift the lockdown restrictions as the graph is fluctuating from day to day. Another incident like Suryapet can change the entire complexion of the state’s situation within hours and the government is also feared of this extreme nature of this deadly virus.
On Sunday, KCR discussed the same with his officials and it looks like the TRS sarkar is up for another lockdown extension. They believe that the extension of the lockdown with more stringent restrictions will eradicate the COVID-19 threat completely.
Already KCR extended lockdown for four more days in Telangana and hasn’t given any relaxation in any part of his state. Now, as the cases are reduced he wants to move more carefully as a bit of tiredness and negligence could prove very costly.
Already the quarantine period is increased to 28 days from 14 days and the Telangana government will make a decision on lockdown soon after the central government announces its take on lockdown extension.
