YS Sharmila has criticized KCR for deceiving Dalits by saying that if TRS wins, he will make a Dalit as a Chief Minister. She recalled that, at that time, KCR said that no Dalit had asked for the post of Chief Minister.
She lamented that this was a sign that the present rulers were not sincere about the welfare of the Dalits. She attended the BR Ambedkar 130th birth anniversary celebrations at her office in Lotus Pond, Hyderabad.
Sharmila lashed out at KCR saying that it is flagrant that KCR is cheating the Dalits of Telangana by showing a stepmother-like love to them.
SCs and STs are seen as vote banks by KCR. KCR has cheated the Dalits by not fulfilling promises such as reservations, double bedroom houses, and pensions. She said that this is a testament to KCR’s love for Dalits.
