Karthikeya director responds on Anupama rumors

It is being rumored from the past few days that Anupama Parameswaran who is selected as the female lead in the movie Karthikeya 2, which is sequel to Karthikeya has walked out from the project. Apparently the rumor says that Anupama has felt she doesn’t have an ample role in the movie, so she has decided to walk out of it.

Few days after the speculations started to spread widely, director of the film Chandoo Mondeti reacted to it. He said that Anupama is very much a part of the project and the rumors of her walking out have no base at all. Karthikeya 2 shoot will resume very soon after the government gives permission for shooting.

Though it is a sequel, Karthikeya 2 doesn’t follow the continuation of the first part but has an entirely new set up. Abhishek Pictures is bankrolling this project. Conceptual teaser of the movie has raised expectations on the project.
