Nikhil starrer Karthikeya 2, which was supposed to hit the screens on August 12, is now pushed to a day after the earlier scheduled date.
In a media conference held on Wednesday, Nikhil said, “The producers decided that the release should be clash-free. As a part of that, the release date of my movie has been changed.”
Karthikeya 2 will now be released in theatres on August 13, 2022. The mystical thriller, which is the sequel to 2014 film Karthikeya, is directed by Chandoo Mondeti. While Anupama Parameswaran plays the love interest of Nikhil, the movie has music composed by Kaala Bhairava.
Bankrolled by People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts, Karthikeya 2 also stars Anupam Kher, Adithya Menon, Harsha Chemudu and Srinivasa Reddy, among others in supporting roles.
