He has just arrived in Hyderabad today, where he was warmly greeted by Vishnu Manchu and Mohan Babu. Akshay Kumar, marking his entry into the Telugu film industry with Kannappa, is set to begin shooting shortly.
The star-studded cast includes Prabhas, Nayanthara, Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Madhubala, among others. Production is a joint venture between 24 Frames Factory and Ava Entertainment. The musical score is crafted by Stephen Devassy and Manisharma. This grand cinematic work is slated for release in all major Indian languages, as well as English.

The momentum of the production is on track, fueling the anticipation for its release. Now that Akshay Kumar has been confirmed as part of the cast, his character is kept under wraps. There are rumors that he may take on the role of Lord Shiva, however, an official statement has yet to be made.
