Every single opposition party in Andhra Pradesh is protesting against the YSRCP government’s decision to conduct board exams for the 10th and 12th classes. No matter what, the AP government seems relentless about its idea of conducting board exams, despite the rapid spreading of the second wave of Coronavirus in the state of AP.
Now, KA Paul, the founder and Chief of Prajashanthi Party has joined the list of protestors. He filed a petition in the High Court, requesting for the cancellation of exams, and has even decided to take up a protest. KA Paul has decided to protest on his own, without being affiliated with anyone else.
Until now, KA Paul was relegated to being in America. From America itself, he had pledged his support against the privatization of the Visakha Steel Plant. When he got to India, KA Paul wanted to protest along with the others, but no one took him seriously, following which he withdrew from his protest, and announced that he wouldn’t protest anymore.
Even now, despite trying his best to oppose the government’s decision of conducting board exams, in all seriousness, no one is taking him seriously. Perhaps, everyone would start to take him seriously once the HC accepts his petition and proceeds with hearings. Until then, KA Paul may not be taken as seriously as he would want to be. Here’s hoping that he gets the recognition he deserves.
