It is known that Samantha appeared as a guest contestant in Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu, the Telugu version of Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by Jr NTR. The show was hosted by her ex-father-in-law, Nagarjuna Akkineni, for three seasons.
While playing the game show, sitting in the hot seat, Samantha could not find the right answer to the question, “In what city can you see the Arc de Triomphe, walking along the path of the Champs-Élysées?”
As she was not sure about the answer, Sam went for the 50:50 option. While revealing the answer, the actress was teased by NTR for a while. “When you go to Paris, you go shopping for a long time, look at the Eiffel Tower and buy good bags,” Samantha laughed. Glad to say ‘Paris’ is the right answer,” he said.
After winning Rs 25 lakh, Sam funnily said, “I’m a genius. My mom always tells me this. But, I didn’t believe.” Reacting to this, NTR said, “Do you believe now? You’re a genius, as your mother said. I proved it. But don’t worship me by touching my feet and don’t keep my photo at home,” NTR said, and there was laughter on the show.
