The Jubilee Hills Housing Welfare Society panel won the Hyderabad Jubilee Hills Cooperative Housing Society elections with an immense majority. The election became the talk of the town as political and industrial dignitaries competed for the Society’s governing body.
A total of 3,181 voters in the society were identified by the co-operative society and 1,759 exercised their right to vote in the voting till noon on Sunday.
The Jubileehills Housing Welfare Society panel won 15 governing body seats. Former Union Minister JD Seelam’s wife Sujatha won in the SC quota, while Adala Himabindu Reddy and Sunila Reddy won in the women’s category.
Members of the same panel Rajendra Prasad, Garakapalli Srinivasu, B Rabindranath, Muralimukund, P Nagaraju, M Anandakumar, S Satish Chandra, R Madhavreddy, K Nagendra Prasad, Madadi Srilakshmi, Dr Om Prakash Agarwal and Congress executive president Kusum Kumar won the polls.
