SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan, and Jr NTR created history with RRR earlier this year as it became the first Indian film ever to win the mighty Oscars. The Naatu Naatu song from the film award for the best original song this year.
Now, another Indian film is likely to be sent to the Oscars nominations and this film is SRK and Atlee’s Jawan.
Atlee has revealed that he will intiaite the process to send the film for Oscars jury. He said he will discuss the prospect with SRK soon.
As for RRR, it had a global reach on OTT and it was a box office monster as well. It had something new to offer to the audience. But this is missing in the case of Jawan which is a routine commercial entertainer.
Will Atlee be successful in this persuit? We shall wait and see.
