It is known that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has launched ‘Koulu Rythu Bharosa Yatra’ in order to help the families of tenant farmers, who reportedly committed suicide because of mounting debts. The actor will also be providing financial assistance to the families as a part of the initiative.
In this context, the sympathizers of the Janasena Party in America have donated Rs 50 Lakhs for the ‘Koulu Rythu Bharosa Yatra’ program. On Tuesday, the members of Janasena America met Pawan Kalyan and Naga Babu in Hyderabad and handed over the bank cheque to them.
For the unversed, Pawan Kalyan has been giving a cheque of Rs 1 lakh to the victim’s kin after consoling the bereaved family.
The Janasena chief earlier said that Andhra Pradesh stood in the second position in tenant farmer suicides due to the YSRCP government’s negligence in solving their issues. He said that about 3,000 farmers ended their lives by themselves in the last 3 years due to distress.
