Janasena candidate S P Y Reddy dies at 68

After long illness, Nandyal sitting MP in Andhra Pradesh, S P Y Reddy has lost his life at a private hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

He won as an MP from Nandyal constituency as Congress candidate in 2004 and 2009. He later won the seat as YSRCP nominee in 2014, but jumped into TDP soon after the elections. But when TDP denied Nandyal ticket in the recent elections, he shifted to Janasena and contested from Nandyal again. But even before announcement of results, it is unfortunate to see him dead.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy and Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan have expressed grief over his death and offered their condolences to the family members of S P Y Reddy.
