Opposition parties are outraging over the State Election Commission for implementing the old Parishad elections notification.
All the opposition parties in AP have boycotted Neelam Sawhney’s meeting which was held to discuss the Parishad elections. TDP, Janasena, and BJP have issued a statement that they are boycotting the meeting.
However, Lella Appireddy from YCP, Mastan Wali from Congress, YV Rao from CPM, and Adinarayana from TRS attended the meeting.
Janasena outraged over the SEC’s decision. Pawan Kalyan said it was undemocratic for SEC to make a decision that would benefit the ruling party. He said it was wrong to make a decision without discussing it with the opposition parties.
As the opposition political party leaders demanded the release of a new notification earlier, they expressed dissatisfaction with the recent decision of AP SEC.
