Jalsa creates an all-time record with its re-release

By now, everyone knows that Trivikram Srinivas’ directorial ‘Jalsa’, which was released in 2008, is getting re-released on the occasion of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s birthday tomorrow.

Not only in Telugu states, but the movie will also be released in the USA and Australia. The latest news is that Jalsa will have the highest number of special shows in the country, which is an all-time record now.

A total of 501 and more shows have been arranged for the special screening worldwide. On the other side, Jalsa has already become the highest-grossing Indian film in the USA for special shows. As of now, it collected $22K from advance bookings in 22 locations and 41 shows.

Approximately 37.5K tickets have been sold with 76 shows arranged on September 1 and 3 shows on September 2. As per reports, the movie collected Rs 61 lakhs gross with 90% occupancy for Day 1 and Rs 4.9 lakhs gross with 88% occupancy for Day 2. The collections of the Jalsa special shows will be donated to charity.
